Khmer Youth Association (KYA) was established in November 1992 by a group of youth and students of diverse background as a humanitarian, non-political party, non-governmental and non-partisan Cambodian youth organization. KYA is committed to work with and for youth for positive social change by improving and promoting youth participation on different social issues relevant to Cambodia. KYA is currently receiving financial and technical support from various donors including, PLAN International Cambodia, the Asia Foundation, CFI and FK Norway, IMCC etc.
KYA is currently looking for a qualified candidate to fulfill positions of Financial Officer

Financial Officer (1 position) based in Phnom Penh with gross salary range 400 -450 USD (Included Benefits: Insurance, NSSF, Bonus, Phone card and other benefits)

Working Day: Monday-Friday

Financial Officer Duties

Check and review all request from units
Checks and prepare payment (All Expenses in organization)
Book keeping
Prepares Bank Reconciliation
Prepares monthly fund balance
Prepares bank request and withdraw note
Check and review cash request
Prepares and review fund received
Do the Budget Projection/Monitoring to donors
Prepares acknowledgement letter to donors
Prepared and Transfer budget to province for activities
Support technical to provincial finance staff
Petty Cash management
Filling (Both software and Hardware)
Prepares financial Report
Assist to operational manager to:

Prepare budget for project implementation
Budget proposal to donors
Do the audit process.
Other related tasks required

Requirements

Bachelor Degree in Accounting/ finance or any other related fields
Minimum 2years working experiences, 3years with NGOs is preferable
Good command of English (Both written and spoken)
Flexible, smart, willing to learn new skills
Honest and high commitment
Good interpersonal, organizational, communication, negotiation and problem solving skills
Highly responsible for work completion with accuracy and within deadline
Effective time management and superior organization skills with the ability to multi-tasks and work well in a team
Good time management
Oriented toward service and continual performance improvement
Strong in using MS Excel and QuickBooks
