Background and Campaign Description

YOUTH LEAD project aims to create a platform for youth to enhance their capabilities, address youth issues with concerned stakeholders through advocacy and relatively promote meaningful collaboration between youth and stakeholders. Awareness-raising is one of the other processes that educates youth about issues with the intention of influencing their attitudes, behaviors, and beliefs for promoting feminist and gender equality.

The project will involve a Green Day event which involves some cycling and environmental sessions. It will happen half day in the midst of April 2022 at Peam Chi Kong Commune, Kong Meas District, Kampong Cham Province. The activity will be participated by around 50 people. In order to disseminate the event and raise awareness about protecting the environment, particularly, reducing the plastic at the community, we need a video production of the event.

Objective

Consultant or consultant team will work closely with the Youth LEAD team to perform these services:

Produce one video that displays the event of Green Day
Video shall raise awareness of the environment protection
Interviews with relevant stakeholders shall be considered
The video must be of high quality with English subtitle

Deliverable of the Assignment

The consultant will undertake (shoot and edit) in one video as below:

1 video between 7-10 minutes with English Subtitle. Otherwise, consultant will discuss with KYA.

Note: All the final products must be original and free from copyright infringement. The consultant must provide the original and editable project files to Khmer Youth Association (KYA) for future uses at our discretion. KYA shall hold the sole ownership of these videos and all elements used in the videos.

The Video will be shot in Kampong Cham.

All the lighting for the video shoot will be on the video editor.

Qualification

Have a good capacity in using video and audio editing software and programs
Previous work experiences in film editing or related area
Ability to multitask and work toward several milestones on various projects simultaneously
Creative experience in filmmaking and videography, and podcasting
Experience editing various video projects and inserting sound effects, music and transitions
Being able to make the work done within the deadline
Being able to work in a creative way
Have a good team work
Have a spirit for gender equality and have the concept of the campaign

Finalize the video concept: 21 April 2022
Video shooting: 24 April 2022
Final Video: 29 April 2022
