Sodachan knows with 10 years of the finance sector. In 2023, she joined KYA as the Finance Officer, where she plays a pivotal role in the financial stewardship of the organization. Her responsibilities encompass a wide range of activities, including the meticulous oversight of budgeting processes, detailed financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with various donor regulations and internal organizational policies. One of her key responsibilities involves monitoring expenditures about established budgets. This proactive approach helps prevent overspending and ensures resources are allocated effectively and efficiently across various projects and initiatives. To further enhance the organization's capacity, Sodachan provides targeted training sessions for staff, focusing on financial procedures and best practices.​ Additionally, she offers invaluable support to project teams by guiding them in understanding budgetary constraints and navigating financial reporting requirements. This collaborative effort ensures that all team members are aligned with KYA's financial objectives. Currently, Sodachan is deepening her expertise by studying professional taxation in value-added tax, which enhances her theoretical knowledge and practical understanding of taxation issues. Besides working in NGOs/CSOs, Sodachan has also worked in the private sector as a finance officer. In this capacity, she was responsible for managing and controlling the financial landscape while also undertaking various administrative tasks to support her team. Her diverse experience across sectors equips her with a unique perspective and a comprehensive understanding of the financial dynamics at play in both nonprofit and for-profit environments.
