On 12^th -13^th June 2021, KYA organized the training on Socio-economic rights and civic leadership skill. After training, Bosi was satisfied the session because the training was important for young people for self-development. He said “I am migrating from the Banteay Ampil district, Oddar Meanchey to study in Battambang city, Battambang. My hometown was very far from the city, and I never knew the right and law. I just know that I have to be a good citizen, not using drugs, and not committing evil deeds. After training, I knew how to use my rights to access public service, and I aware of the principles of good governance. I commit to sharing what I learn from the facilitators and other participants with my friends whenever I have the opportunity. Personally, the training is good for youth and community people, so I desire to KYA organize this training in the community too”.

With a strong commitment, Bosy joined the Khmer Youth Association to be a CYN member. During joining the team, he was actively participated to organize the activities such as training, University Library Hub, in particular, he attended regular meetings with commune councils in Sangkat Preak Preshsdach, therefore, I recognized the Commune development plan. In addition, he said, “I get confident through discussion and sharing my perception during a meeting with a team”.

In the next plan, he will commit to participate with KYA and the team to organize the activities to ensure youths, his next generation to get the opportunity to participate in social development.
