KYA is guided by a 3 year strategic plan (2013-2015) and is currently managing a diverse portfolio of projects on Human Right and Democracy, Youth’s Health and Education, and Youth capacity building, Development effectiveness and community of learning practices. Due to expansion and deployment of succession management plan, KYA is now recruiting a Program Manager to assure a) quality delivery KYA programming activities and b) strategic and direct management oversight to all KYA programming activities.

The purpose of position

The purpose of this position is to provide the training to youth participants in communities in province.

Major Responsibility areas

Major Responsibility:

Have a clear knowledge on the activities and the strategy of implementation of the project;
Explain to local authorities and stakeholders the objectives and the activities of the project, their

Involvement, role and responsibilities;

Conduct capacity building for the local authorities and stakeholders on the overall management of the activities;
Coordinate and supervise the work and participation of local stakeholders to involve in the following activities:
1. Health issue to the population;
2. Health promotion campaigns;
3. improvement of health issue and system;

Provide to target population clear and complete information about the activities of the project and health good practices;
Supervise field work verifying the correctness and timely completion of each activity;
Ensure the proper implementation of trainings, group discussions, mobilization and awareness raising events, and other related activities;
Implement, monitor and follow up the proper collection of data through project monitoring sheet as well as data entry in the computer following the indication of the line manager;
Contribute and participate in the implementation of the project baseline and final survey;
Contribute to the preparation of IEC and other training materials if applicable;
Report to the line manager about the on-going of the activities in the field using the instruments and according to the indications provided by the line manager;
Immediately inform the line manager, provincial coordinator about any criticism that can affect the correct implementation of the project and the relationship with the stakeholders;
Support line manager, coordinator in the timely preparation of monthly plans and reports.
Produce the system of advocacy, workshop, and training for strengthening good cooperation with other institutions.
Consult with community youth base network and youth center activities
Provide the training on sexual reproductive health to peer and youth community

Skills and requirements

Khmer native age between 18 -35 years old

Completed high school or pursuing University
Minimum one year experiences in related field
Good interpersonal skills
Willing to work in community
Good communication and interpersonal relation skills
Knowledge of computers (word, excel, power point, etc...)
Good comment of spoken and written in English.
