KYA is committed to work with and for youth for positive social change by improving and promoting youth participation on different social issues relevant to Cambodia. KYA is currently receiving financial and technical support from various donors including, PLAN International, Pact Cambodia, We World, OXFARM, FK Norway, etc.

An alliance of 30 young Cambodian activists called the Cambodia Young Women Empowerment Network (CYWEN) was formed in October 2010 following a women’s empowerment process carried out in 2009 by JASS
Mr. Kea Bosi, 21, student at Sihanoukville University, Battambang Branch (SBUBB), in major Specialty in Law. He migrated from the Banteay Ampil district, Oddar Meanchey to study in Battambang city, Battambang. Bosi was a youth interest in social development but he did not opportunity to participate in social work and not able to learn something new to improve himself.
Overview YOUTH LEAD is focused on youth, education, and engage youth networks for positive social change. Moreover, the project will create a space for the participants who are young from Cambodia and Nepal to learn problem-solving skills through devising innovative ideas. In particular, the project will provide the opportunity for youths aged 18 -25 years old to share ideas and experiences of the environment, diverse cultures, gender equality, and cross-cutting issues in their society.
Overview The Youth LEAD project has been implemented halfway in the midst of the pandemic. Challenges facing youth networks in this project point to the lack of communication and physical interaction. It is thus deemed important to organize a physical team building for the members of Youth LEAD.
Miss. Romam E Vann, 18-year-old, she was an indigenous beneficiary, Kroeng minority from Vay village, Kachoun commune, Voen Sai district, Ratanakiri province. She was a deputy leader of a community-based Youth Network (CYN) at Kachoun commune for the New-Generation project.
Self-development is an important component in sharping youth’s future career and leadership.
